Work was shaping my mood every day.
I just couldn't see it.
I thought I knew how I felt at work. Then I started tracking it. Everything turned out to be more complex than I had anticipated. Because feelings are not static. They shift, they build, they have momentum.

Hey there, I'm Saskia 👋 One of Klyne's early users.
I'm not going to talk to you about meditation, journaling, or taking more breaks.
I want to share something simple. Something I found when I finally had the data.
The kind of thing that was happening in the background every single workday. I only found it once I started looking.
Here's what 30 days of tracking revealed:
- My energy was consistently low on the same days every week. You kind of feel it, but you just go with it.
- My most anxious moment of the week wasn't Sunday evening. It was Monday morning, right after my one-on-one meetings.
- I never stopped to actually think about the emotions I had after certain scenarios at work. I never realized the patterns that had been building over so many days.
None of this required me to talk to anyone, or spend money on external help. It was just a personal journey I decided to start. One 30-second log per day and an app called Klyne.
❄️ Why "I'm fine" is the most expensive thing you say at work
Someone asks how you're doing. You say fine. You move on.
Not because you're hiding anything. But because you genuinely don't have better data. And less reframing. Sometimes we just don't want to share how we feel. Either because we don't know how we feel, or because we know exactly how we're feeling and just don't want to talk about it.
Most workplace exhaustion doesn't arrive suddenly. It builds quietly. In the gap between how you think you're doing and how you're actually doing. By the time it's visible, it's been going on for months. Others might feel it before you do. Because you're not always aligned with how you truly feel. Maybe you're in denial. Maybe you've just been through it so many times it started to feel normal.
We track our steps. Our sleep. Our screen time. Our calories.
But our emotional state at work, the thing that shapes every meeting, every decision, every conversation, we just guess at it. And we're not very good at guessing, are we?
⚙️ How Klyne actually works
📊 Patterns you can see
⚡️ One log a day
🔒 100% private
⏱️ 30 seconds
1️⃣ Log your emotion and scenario — once a day
Once a day, whenever works for you, Klyne asks you two things:
- How are you feeling right now? Pick from a range of emotions, not just good or bad.
- What's the scenario? What just happened, or what you're dealing with today.
It takes 30 seconds. Morning, lunch, end of day, whenever fits your rhythm.
💡
Most of us move through our workdays without ever putting a feeling to any of it. And there are real reasons for that. A lot of people struggle to put their emotions into words in the first place. Others have no one to share them with, not at home, not with a work friend, not anywhere. And then there's the pressure. The image of having to be strong. Of holding it together because your role demands it, or because you're ambitious and you've decided that feelings are something you deal with later.
So the day keeps moving. And the feelings come along for the ride, unnamed and unexamined.
The act of logging is a small moment of self-acceptance. What am I actually feeling right now? What triggered it? That 30 seconds, done consistently, builds something most people have never had. A real, honest picture of their own emotional life at work and beyond.
You might be surprised what comes up when you actually stop to look.
2️⃣ See today's emotion and scenario at a glance
After you log, Klyne shows you your emotional state for that moment and the scenario attached to it. Simple, clean, no analysis required. Just your day, reflected back at you.
3️⃣ Get a personalised tip based on what you logged
Right after your log, Klyne gives you a recommendation specific to the emotion and scenario you just described. Not generic advice. Something you can actually use for the rest of that day.
✅
This is the part most people don't expect. It's not just tracking. It's a response. You log, Klyne gives you something actionable based on exactly what you're experiencing right now.
4️⃣ Watch patterns build over time in graphs
This is where it gets interesting. Klyne builds a visual picture of your emotional patterns over days, weeks, and months. Check how you felt on a specific day, see a graph of your week, or look back over a full month.
What I saw after 30 days:
📉 Energy: consistently low on the same days every week without fail
😰 Anxiety: peaked Monday mornings, not Sunday evenings
😶 After difficult conversations: flat and withdrawn for hours after
✨ Real satisfaction: found in moments I wasn't expecting. Being with my team. Small things that just felt right.
📅 My happiest days were actually Tuesdays and Fridays. Not the days you'd expect.
I couldn't have told you any of that from memory. The graphs showed me.
And as a premium member, you can download a full report of your emotional patterns. Your trends, your progress over time. Yours to keep, yours to reflect on. No one else ever sees it.
🔒
100% private and individual. Your data stays yours. No manager view. No team dashboard. No one else ever sees your logs. This is personal data, treated as personal data.
📅 Your first 3 weeks — exactly what to do
Week 1 — Get familiar with it.
- Download Klyne and pick a time that works for you every day
- Log once — your emotion and your scenario, even if the day felt completely ordinary
- If a log surprises you, notice it. Sit with it. Don't act on it yet.
🎯 Goal: 7 logs. One per day. Just get familiar with it.
Week 2 — Find your first pattern.
- Look at your weekly graph. Is there a day that consistently feels harder?
- Which scenarios are attached to your lowest moments?
- Which ones leave you feeling better than you expected?
🎯 Goal: Name one real pattern. Just one, not more, not less. This is all for you. There is no pressure here.
Week 3 — Make one change based on what you see.
- Protect your best energy window for the work that actually matters
- Add some recovery time after whatever consistently drains you
- If you know stress builds before deadlines, plan something around that. A buffer. A moment. Something small that works for you.
🎯 Goal: One change. That's it. Small and sustainable beats big and temporary every time.
Keep going — and don't look back.
You started something most people never do. You decided to pay attention to yourself at work. Keep logging. Keep noticing. The patterns get clearer, the tips get more relevant, and what you know about yourself becomes something genuinely yours.
Every week you continue is another week of knowing yourself better than the week before. That compounds. And one day you'll look back at your first log and barely recognise where you started. This is not a programme with an end date. It's just a new way of moving through your days. And as you go, you can download your reports, compare months, and actually see how far you've come. Not just feel it. See it.
🔁 After 1 month
- You stop being blindsided by your own energy crashes
- You understand which scenarios to protect yourself from and which to lean into
- You have a month of emotional self-knowledge that belongs entirely to you and no one else
- You start noticing the small signs way before they become big ones. And that is exactly the point.
💥 That's when the shift happens. Not that you've changed. But that you can finally see yourself clearly at work.
🧭 The mindset shift
Stop seeing your workday as something that just happens to you. Start understanding it well enough that it makes you want to shape it, change it, or simply move through it differently.
- Every log is a small moment that belongs entirely to you
- Every pattern is a lever you didn't know you had
- Every tip is something you can use today
- Every month is a level of self-awareness most people never build
Most of what shapes how we feel at work happens beneath the surface. It is not loud. It does not announce itself. It just accumulates, quietly, until one day you notice something has shifted. Klyne doesn't fix that. It just makes the invisible visible. And once you can see it, everything gets clearer.
📆 Whenever you're ready
No pressure. No countdown. If this resonated with you, download the app. You don't even need to complete the onboarding just yet. Just having it there is enough for now.
When you do log for the first time, know this: that one log is the one spark that matters. It is the beginning of understanding your own patterns, setting small goals for yourself, and moving through your days with a little more clarity than before.
That is all it takes to start.
- Download Klyne free on the App Store
- Take your time with the onboarding
- Log when you feel ready
- Come back in 7 days and see what showed up
🎯 Goal: one log. That is it.
