WORKPLACE STRESS ISN’T RANDOM. KLYNE IS BUILT TO MAKE IT VISIBLE.
A new app tracks how emotions at work build over time, helping people see patterns before they take over.
Workplace stress is often treated as something unpredictable. Klyne is built on a different assumption: that emotions at work follow patterns, building quietly over time rather than appearing out of nowhere.
Most tools capture how someone feels in a single moment. Klyne focuses on what happens between those moments.
Instead of asking how do you feel right now, Klyne reveals what has been building all along.
Using a patent-pending system called the Newtonian Emotional Dynamics Algorithm (NEDA), the app tracks how emotional patterns form across the workday, making visible what is usually only noticed once it escalates.
The scale of the problem is significant. The World Health Organization estimates that 12 billion working days are lost every year due to depression and anxiety, at a cost of US$1 trillion in lost productivity. Separate analysis from the European Trade Union Institute links work-related psychosocial risks to more than 10,000 deaths annually.
Klyne approaches this differently. Users log how they feel during specific workplace moments, such as meetings, deadlines, or presentations. Over time, the app surfaces recurring patterns, giving early visibility into what builds stress and what restores balance.
“There was a day where nothing objectively went wrong” says founder Kemmbelly Dürst. “I had meetings, finished my tasks, everything looked normal on paper. But by the end of the day I felt completely drained and off balance, and I couldn’t explain why. It wasn’t one moment. It was everything adding up.“
That realisation became the foundation of Klyne.
“It made me realise I had never actually seen how my emotions were building over time.”
The app captures both sides. Not only where stress accumulates, but also where energy, confidence, and clarity naturally return. Patterns that are usually overlooked become visible and usable.
Two values sit at the core: emotional privacy and personal ownership. No employer access. No third-party data sharing. Built for the individual, not the organisation.
Klyne is available now on the App Store. Journalists, podcasters, and creators covering the intersection of work and emotional patterns can reach out at press@klyne.app.
NOTES TO EDITORS
Klyne is a self-awareness and workplace wellness platform built on its patent-pending Emotional Dynamics Algorithm (NEDA). It helps individuals understand how emotions build over time through intensity and context tracking. Founded by Kemmbelly Dürst, whose experience in high-pressure work environments led to the creation of the platform.
